“Beyond these woods, I am a prince.”

Sorry for the hiatus. The end of school was absolutely brutal! Not to mention, keeping up with the Miley scandal was enough to drive any blogger mad!! I have just a short update for now.

If you haven’t heard, Prince Caspian was released in the U.S. yesterday. A very good movie considering some disappointments from the first. I don’t care what reviewers have said about the violence, I don’t think it’s any more violent (in fact much less) than the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy. Also, a teaser trailer for Beverly Hills Chiuahua was played before the movie’s start. It features a musical number that, following the screening I was in, left the audience in laughs, but not in a good way as there were several “You’re kidding,” and “That’s just stupid” and other statements of mockery. Of course, that’s not to say it’s the same way across the board.

It’s been up for a little over a week now, but here is the music video for the Mitchel Musso and Emily Osment duet, “If I Didn’t Have You” from Disneymania 6.

 

Speaking of Disneymania 6, after what feels like the longest wait ever, the cd comes out this Tuesday! However, Disney must realize the anxiousness of and for the project (after mixed reviews for Disneymania 5- which sold the least amount in the series next to the Remix Mania) so Radio Disney will be having a planet premiere of the cd in a half an hour from now. I will be ripping the broadcast with my computer and plan on having a listening party here for the next week (will be replaced with higher quality songs on Tuesday) for those who may have missed it.

Also, this is now old, but Disney gave out a press release with the names of all animated projects planned from now until 2012. That press release can be found HERE.

Also recently released, just like predecessor Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers will have their very own Disney 3-D concert movie in theaters next year. Footage will be from their “Burning Up” tour this summer. This also means Demi Lovato could get some on screen time which will help amp up Disney’s goal to make her the next Miley. The best thing about the press release is it clears up any confusion on J.O.N.A.S…or does it? At one point in the press release, we are told the show will debut this fall while further into the press release we are told production begins this fall. We’ll just have to wait and see… The full press release can be found HERE.

Montana May for the UK and Camp Rock Preview!

Alright, so did you catch the Camp Rock preview last night??  You didn’t? Well, you didn’t miss much…just kidding! Although I’m not entirely stoked about this movie which has been hyped up since last year, I’m a huge music afficianado so it’s always nice to have some new music. I’m also a HUGE Jasmine Richards fan and have been for awhile, so I am totally stoked to see her in a new project  Okay, so seriously, if you didn’t catch the preview last night, here’s not only the music video but also the song stream link only in case you’re not a fan of watching video previews…hey, I know there are some of you out there like that! And for those of you who may be afraid you won’t get to see the movie when we in America do, don’t fret! The Walt Disney Corporation has announced that it will premiere the movie around the world all on the same night!

We Rock – Camp Rock Cast

Next up, if you live in the United Kingdom, a member over at another website, Loliver.2ya.com, wants everyone to know that in May you will be able to see 5 new episodes of Hannah Montana. For American fans with the right connections, you can expect these episodes to pop-up online somewhere which will be nice since fans here are hurting for new episodes as season 2 continues to drag on and on in an effort to make time for the production of season 3. However, I desparately encourage you to support the episodes when they do air in your own country to show Disney you are still interested.

And just to think, Montana May will in a sense kick off the year long countdown until the Hannah Montana movie. It’s hard to believe it’s been over a year since Mitchel spilled the beans on the red carpet at the premiere of Meet The Robinsons. But we’re sure glad he did. We may not know too many details yet, although news reports have confirmed shooting schedule and location, Tennessee, we know that the movie will be amazing. And who knows! Maybe the world will finally learn Miley’s big secret!! Of course, there hasn’t been any news on whether or not production will be postponed on account of Miley’s current bout with strep throat. But if I find anything, I’ll post it immediately!

Speaking of Miley, is anyone else excited about her first ever voice over role fit for the big screen?? That’s right, Miley Cyrus will provide the voice for Penny in the Disney animated film, Bolt which will be releasing in theaters this coming Thanksgiving weekend.

Okay, I’m going to stop there for now, but I have a much bigger post for tomorrow. A still pretty warm, hot off the presses announcement from Disney, so you don’t want to miss that. Disney Re-Mastered Re-Opened!!

Hello fellow Disney lovers Disney Remastered, once hosted at FandomReady, is back. I shut down the site because it was clear I was going out of my way to produce a website when all I really had was news updates about Disney, Disney Channel, Disney Stars, Disney Music, etc. So, I decided to regroup and restart, which is probably redundant…but nevertheless, Disney REM is back here at WordPress. The blog will have the same content as before: All the info you need on Disney whether it be fact or the latest rumors buzzing around the Mouse Kingdom.

Current Updates:

1. I have been keeping an eye out for any Miley/Mandy vs Demi/Selena drama since it’s just way too funny to pass up. I want to make it clear though, that I’m not on either side of this matter. I do not claim that those who say it was an innocent parody are right. And I don’t claim that those who think there’s enough proof that Demi and Selena were victims are right. I don’t know the whole story and unless more substantial proof leaks (which I’m keeping a close eye out for) I will not take sides but only report my findings should any new stuff come forth on the subject.
2. If you are a fan of Mitchel Musso and Emily Osment or of the Loliver (Lilly/Oliver) shipping, be sure to keep your eyes peeled to the Disney Channel in upcoming weeks for the release of a music video featuring the two for their Disneymania Volume 6 duet cover of “If I Didn’t Have You” from Monsters, Inc. According to Mitchel, the video just finished shooting which means it should hit a tv screen near you soon. I’ll release a specific air date as soon as I find one.
3. Speaking of Disneymania 6, don’t forget to pick up a copy from your local retailer starting May 20th. The album features bigger name stars than Disneymania 4 or 5. Stars include Plain White T’s, Colbie Callait, Nikki Blonsky, etc. Also, look forward to my annual Disneymania report and week long preview of the album starting the day it is released. Also, if your local grocery store carries SweetCherubs tomatoes, look to see if there’s a Radio Disney sticker on the package. If so, it means the package contains a special code redeemable online at the SweetCherubs website for a free download from the album! I’ve been working on getting one of the songs so I can preview it here. And when I say preview, I don’t mean it can be downloaded. I only mean it will be placed in a flash widget for visitors to listen to. I do not encourage or promote downloading music unless using legal means.
4. While you’re picking up Disneymania 6, check out the new movie release section for National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets which also becomes available on May 20th. And for more Disney releases, check out the release calendar I’ll be posting within the next few days.
